Oncologists conducted a conference in VR space.
In internet-connected VR space, we held an academic conference by specialists of colon cancer from nationwide cancer treatment base hospitals in Japan.
The subject of this conference was "Reviewing on topics of colorectal cancer treatment in 2018 -mainly on liquid biopsy and MSI-H cancers-". Doctors from Hokkaido University Hospital, National Cancer Center Hospital East, and Shizuoka Cancer Center wore VR goggles and joined the discussion in VR space.
The conference started with a lecture with presentation materials displayed on the screen of the VR space. It then proceeded to the question-and-answer session through avatars, and lasted for about one hour.
